We’re settling quite nicely into Japanese life over here. Little things like purchasing a coffee and scratching our heads over currency have become almost second nature in only a few days…funny how that works. Day 7 we got to sleep in for the first time in a while which was nice, then we headed to this awesome indoor mini ramp around noon and sessioned with this local shredder kid on his 18 inch. Everyone was real hyped on just a big ol mini ramp with tons of deck space. It’s always cool getting to see Broc killing tranny too. Anyone who knows me knows that you’ll never find me at the skatepark when I’m home, so Broc riding a mini ramp is not something I get to see very often. From there the locals took us to this crazy sea wall thing which was basically a giant bank with a 9 foot very quarter on top of it. That shit was soooo crazy man. Later on in the night we pedaled over to Clan Bike Shop from the hotel while dippin thru traffic like a buncha dicks. It kinda felt like a much tamer version of riding thru New York City….except people were a little more confused and less trying to run you over. The shop stop was awesome & the rest of the night is a blurry iPhone photo history. Stay tuned for more from the rest of our trip over the next few days. CLICK IMAGE TO LAUNCH GALLERY.
