Day friggin’ 3 ey? Yesterday had the crew (for the most part) feeling pretty back on a normal sleeping pattern after struggling with the jet lag the first couple nights. The first order of business was a quick stop by BMX RIO were we got to meet cool locals and obstruct bicycle commuter traffic on the sidewalk. After that we headed over to Flourish BMX, which is owned by our dude Akira Sakata. It was dope to get to meet him and see what his shop was all about. It’s a relatively new shop but the vibe is was super on point, plus with the skatepark right next-door the shop is bound to thrive & help the local scene grow. From the shop we headed over to said skatepark, sessioned with the locals, flimed some clips, and had a blast. What more could you ask for right?…maybe just some authentic Japanese ramen. Boom.
