Day 3 in AZ with the dream team. Let’s Drew this…
The morning started off very flat. By that I mean flat landscape, flat spots, flat cloudy sky, and most of all…flat tires. Walmart got 37 dollars of our hard earned money…more than half of which went straight in a thorny garbage can. Here’s Jason dealing with the struggle.
Exploring the streets of downtown Mesa with my boys.
“Hey Tate, isn’t that your church over there?”
“Why yes Jason it is…” Nah not really but this town (or at least the surrounding areas) was definitely heavily Mormon…so naturally Tate felt right at home.
Oh yeah, that’s right.
Too bad it doesn’t all connect like one giant life size hot wheels track, but even so it was still such an amazing spot. The plant life was also amazing….left me and Greg with some super comfortable thorns all up in our skin that were pretty much like baby pieces of fiberglass. Here’s Drew braving the dangerous mellow tranny with a table above the thorny death pit.
Today is also a very special day for Mr Hoss. He turns 26! While most people our age would choose to have a raging night on the town, Drew instead opted for a generator session under a bridge with his friends. Right at midnight he got his last clip as a 25 year old and his first photo as a 26 year old. Here’s Drew praying to the spot gods before going in on this bank to wall setup.
Greg Moliterno has been awesome to have around on this trip. The most solid of dudes and a great photographer. Here’s a very happy Greg with his first dope photo of the Drew-year.
The only other people on earth who hang out under bridges. There was insane scene on the ground right next these with several sizable blood splatter pools on a bunch of jagged rocks to compliment. Gnarly. We capped off the night by listening to this all the way home. The height of maturity…
