Ok, well my name is Markell Jones, I’m 22 years old, I’m from the city by the sea, Long Beach, CA and I’ve been riding for about 7 years.

*HOWS GROWING UP AND LIVIN IN LBC WITH A BIG BMX SCENE/COMMUNITY?
Growing up in Long Beach has been great and I wouldn’t say we have a big scene out here, just a bunch of people live here and never ride the city.

Houghton skatepark is #1.

*HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO DESCRIBE YOUR NEW VLM SETUP?
My new setup feels amazing to say The least!!!

The whole team is amazing but I’m gonna have to choose Jarren as my favorite. He is truly super sick to watch ride!

*HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT RIDING & REPPIN FOR VLM NOW?
I feel honored to be riding for VLM. I never imagined it happening when I was growing up riding a VLM bike

The clip was a dope introduction. I’d say the hanger is my signature, so no better way to get welcomed. Stay tuned for the official welcome video me and Fern are working on ?.

*ONE VLM RIDER YOU WISH COULD BE IN THE VAN ON EVERY VLM TRIP?
I’d like to ride in a van with the whole team. Can’t specifically say one more than the others. VLM SQUAD YOU FEEL ME!!!!????

*WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO?
I listen to rap, r&b, rock and basically every genre of music.

*SO ITS SAFE TO SAY YOU ́RE GONNA BE RIDING TO HIP HOP IN YOUR FIRST VIDEO FOR VLM? HAHAHAHA
Safe to say I’ll be using whatever music fits the video… hahaha
