Billy just sent over these rad photos over of himself shredding up some street, dirt and ramp and also said he’s going to have a new street edit done soon for us to peep. He’s going to his first Texas Toast this week to shred with the rest of the Volume bikes guys that are going out there. Be sure to look out for him on future Toast edits, sure he’ll come through with some crazy action. Hit more to see the rest of his photos. Photo by Jon Nemecek and Anthony Panza more

Attention: Shameless self posting. For all you die hard Volume site readers out there who may have noticed I haven’t been in the mix as much lately, it’s because I’ve been out and about working really hard to wrap up my own section in The Finer Things. Having spent the last couple years very much dedicated to finding spots and filming everyone else, I’ve been taking this time to focus more on my own section, make my ideas a reality, and make it as good as can be. I’ve been told before I have a one track mind and am totally incapable of multi-tasking….for the most part this is absolutely true. Our friend Devin Feil shot this in the midst of getting one of my bucket list ideas done the other day right here in Long Beach with our very own Josh Clemens behind the lens. – Mike Mastroni

Eric just recently went on a Barcelona trip and got to ride some amazing spots and play tourist for a bit, read below to see what he’s been up to:
I found one riding photo from my Barcelona trip. It’s not the best quality so I hope that’ll work for the update. It’s a hop bar in front of the Arc de Triomf.
“What’s up guys! The summer has been pretty hot out here in AZ but that hasn’t stopped me from riding. To escape the heat I’ve tried to travel a bunch. First, I headed out to Cali with Drew Hoss in July. We meet up with Mastroni to film for the upcoming Volume DVD “The Finer Things”. Stoked because it was a pretty productive trip for the whole crew. Can’t wait to see it when it comes out later this year!!
At the beginning of August I headed out to Barcelona for two weeks for a little summer vacation. I met up with Simone Barraco and Shadow TM Chadwick to hang out, shred and film for the Shadow DVD. Barcelona was amazing as always, so many good spots out there!
I also just found my old Hi-8 camcorder from back in the day so I bought a new fisheye lens for it and a filming handle. Be on the look out for an edit I’m working on with some local AZ shredders!
Well the next stop for me is Interbike in Vegas next week then Texas Toast/ Nora Cup in Austin October. Hope to see all you guys out there, Ciao!!” – Eric Bahlman

Drew has had a busy couple of months with locking up his Finer Things part, traveling, working and now is on the Tea and Biscuits tour. Read below what the man himself has to say. Photo by Greg Moliterno
“Its been nothing but busy times here in Arizona this summer. I have been getting ready for Elephant Distro Tea and Biscuits Part 2 (which I’m on now) week in the UK. When the trip is over I will be hanging behind in Europe for a couple weeks to travel around with some homies, should be dope. I had Mastroni and Platt come to town last week and I am stoked to say we wrapped up my part for the Finer Things DVD which should be out in a few months. So with a rad trip in the very new feature and finishing up a video part we have been working on for the past year and a half or so I gotta say life has been pretty good lately.” Love, Drew

While DeMarcus was recuperating from his injury in Utah, he took some time off in NorCal to just chill. He later came back to SD and got back on the shred sled to see how he was feeling again on the bike. If you keep an eye on our Instagram, you’ll see how he fell off the back of our ramps while filming one of his friends. He fell from the deck to body check and sprained his finger (yes it was crooked) badly. Leave it to DeMarcus, he later pulled it back into place and was later seen at the Vans park. Lets hope he chills out before our big CO trip next month. Stay tuned for more DeMarcus…. But in the meantime, check out this rad no-handed fakie photo (and his last flair) that we shot a couple months back on the famous SD Home Ave ditch quarter. Click image to go BIG!

It’s hard to believe we’re exactly half way thru the trip now. It feels like we’ve been here for way longer, but at the same time we’re all having so much fun that time is just flying by. Like, so trippy man. Here’s Vicente with a little warm up hanger to start off the day right… more

Just a heads up on our bikes going out: Our storm of complete bikes arrived Friday and we’re playing catch-up all week with pre-books and other orders. You guys should see them in 3-5 business days, depending on where you live in the country. Ever wonder what goes into shipping? We shot a couple of pics of the chaos. Click the top pic to see more.

I’m gonna keep this one short and sweet, because after all this is supposed to be a ghost town trip. Day two, Sunday, AKA the day of the spot mods. We spent our time wisely by sticking around the Phoenix area in hopes of hitting new spots and taking care of unfinished business… more

As it goes on many trips, the last few days seemed to kind of blend together. People are hurting a little, the overall clip pace slows down a bit….but really in this case we were all having way too much fun, staying up too late, and relaxing into the Austin way of life for it to really bother anyone too much. Don’t worry though we managed ride our bikes a little bit too. Here’s a photo at the peak of the golden hour, of a very golden man, on his very golden ride…. more
