Jason has a great piece over on Dig featuring some amazing photos and 5 slices of wisdom from a 39 year old man who’s come full circle with his passion for BMX.
Give this a read, you wont be disappointed.
“At 39, it’s safe to say Jason Enns is content with whatever he chooses to do on a bike. He’s long past losing sleep over filming some banger clip for his next web edit, stressing over stacking clips during a sponsor-funded trip, or stepping up his flat ledge repertoire. A lot may have changed for Jason since the days of having the opener in the seminal video “Criminal Mischief.” But some things haven’t- he continues to be sponsored pro, continues to kill it.” -Dig
What can honestly be said about Mike Mastroni that hasn’t been said in the last year or so, he’s done a ton of press on our ‘The Finer Things’ video than most riders do in a lifetime. It’s always a slippery slope when a filmer is also a badass rider but prefers to film his friends/ team instead of focusing all the attention on himself. We finally got Mike to sit down and write down a quick THEN (past 5yrs) and NOW for your reading pleasure. Hit more to see what he says: more
Alex Platt is no f-n joke, the dude goes all in whenever he rides. For all those that have seen his DVD section in The Finer Things, you too will know. He’s still recovering from his ender trick he did for his part but is still in high spirits while recovering. We sat down with him to see what happened and to see what he does on his off time while being injured. more
While some pros take a bit of time off from working on a DVD part, DeMarcus kept going and went back to work on several different projects. His new video from All Day BMX is dropping tomorrow at DIG too, you don’t want to miss that one. Since Deemo is always on the move, we finally caught up with him to see what he’s working on and what he has in the works. Full interview and gallery after the jump. more
Just like everything great on the internet, it’s gone within a week for something else to take its place. DIG came out with an amazing interview with Mike and everything that went into filming The Finer Things DVD and worth another go on the blog. Check out the interview HERE. “It’s very exciting to finally be able to share the most important moments of my BMX life for the last few years with the general public.” – Mike
I just finished reading Mike and Richie’s RIDEbmx interview and thought it was not only refreshing to read something out of the norm but also what they said about each others sport, how they go about their tricks/spots, their approach, and much more. Big ups to RIDE and Jeff Z for making this one happen, I haven’t been this stoked on an interview in a bit. Photo by Jeff Z/ RIDEBMX. Check it out in the latest May/ June RIDE here >>

Within the last few years, I’d say just realizing that I don’t have to limit my own riding & creativity to the boundries of what BMX deems cool or acceptable. For all you kids reading this, neither do you. I distinctly remember something clicking in my brain and it was exactly like, “ahh-ha, I’m going to do whatever the fuck I want now!!”]
DIG/ Devin Feil just put up an online feature with Mike Mastroni on everything you didn’t know about what went into our new DVD, The Finer Things. He talks about the following; The best moments while filming, A few things you wouldn’t know, 5 personal favorite clips, Most stressful moments, Why full lengths still have a place, Why he’s happy that the video is done, and quick fire fives.
