Missions With Deemo

Brian | 07.6.15

Just another day with  DeMarcus now that he’s working on multiple video projects and is now considered one of the hardest working dudes out there. He’s nonstop and can’t wait to see what he has coming out later this year. Mastroni has a couple things already in the works with him… Up-rail to whip photo by J.Cobbs.

The Finer Things: Weekend Update.

Mastroni | 12.15.14

This past weekend was technically supposed to be the last official filming time for the DVD, and we certainly did our best to spend it wisely with a San Diego day trip on Saturday and some LA status spot hammers for Sunday. There are still some specific loose ends to tie up with certain dudes, but this will definitely be the last crew weekend for a long time as I retire to the editing cave in the coming weeks. Here’s a bunch of photos of Broc, DeMarcus, Raban, Krejmas, D, Josh, Jeff Z, and Myself in what should be our final hours…CLICK TO EXPAND GALLERY.

The Finer Things Update: DVD Filming As Of Late.

Mastroni | 11.5.14

As of the past week or so I’ve been working on wrapping up filming around SoCal with Demarcus and Krejmas. With this whole daylight savings thing we’ve been breaking out the lights and setting out into the night in search of those magical DVD clips. Mr. Roskelley also gets back in town today as well as Raban cruising down this weekend who are also aiming to put the finishing touches on their sections. It’s definitely been a long time coming and I can’t wait to actually have time to sit down and begin the editing process here. That’s all for now. Here’s a few snaps of us out and about, the good ones by Devin Feil.

Tate & Elf Hard At Work.

Mastroni | 01.29.14

Word is Tate is very close to wrapping up what I personally feel is going to be his most interesting video to ever be seen by humans. Tate and Elf recently took a trip to Vegas to escape the SLC winter and get a few more things for the project. I’ve had a sneak peek at what the video and my mind was blown by the things Tate thought up. Keep your eyes peeled for this in the next month or so. Thanks Riley Smith for the photo!

Volume In Texas: Days 3 & 4

Mastroni | 04.17.13

Still nothing but good times here in good ol’ Texas! Here’s yesterday morning’s riding scene at the first spot with Drew Hoss getting it in. Drew may or may not be running a freecoaster now, and lets just say that he could very well be on his way to becoming a four pegged afro version of Ian Scwartz. He’s already got the farming thing down too… more

Mini Updates From The Road: Alex Platt In The Central Coast.

Mastroni | 04.8.13

With our big San Antonio trip about to kick off this week, (and because I can’t just not hang out with Alex Raban) Platt and I really wanted to try to wrap up this welcome video and felt that another trip up to Rabanville was in order. Aaron Smith is also along for the ride to work on an upcoming Demolition edit as well as everyone’s favorite internet loud mouth Adam Grandmaison, who also happened to take this here iPhone snap of Alex putting in work yesterday right out of the van… more

Long Weekend Warriors.

Mastroni | 03.27.13

Since nobody involved here actually has a traditional job, Alex Platt and I decided to make up our own long ‘weekend’ by starting on Saturday night with a 4 hour trek up to Alex Raban-ville in the California’s central coast to hang out with Verve Energy spokesman Victor Galindo, and of course Chef Chachi himself. This handsome no-eyebrow’d human above was not involved in our trip, but literally every time we go up there we see him standing on a corner reading passages from the bible at traffic, or perhaps examining tree bark and taking notes. Also, Raban may or may not be friends with this lunatic. Now, on to the good stuff… more

Drew Hosselton & Eric Bahlman Update.

Mastroni | 03.20.13

drew3x3 copy

These two idiots are hard at work out in AZ working on a a split edit with skate filmer Bill Brown who is also responsible for Drew’s hunt part as well as wealth of spot knowledge. Put that together with Drew and Eric’s creative street capabilities and back wheel wizardry and we are sure to have one hell of an edit on our hands. Be on the lookout for that very soon, but for now you can look at some photos of Bahlman double pegging a really high ledge and a sequence from Drew. Photos by Greg Moliterno… more

Show Yo Process…

Mastroni | 01.2.13

…One very, very long night not so long ago. I had the whole light/dark spot scrolling idea in mind for the Volume In California intro, so I built myself a fresh functioning dolly rig with a pair of $7 roller skate wheels at Goodwill, some angle iron, PVC, and a 2’x3′ piece of plywood, then set off into the night not entirely sure how I was going to achieve the effect I was after for each spot….
