“For our March/April issue, we contacted our contributing photographers with an idea…an idea to shoot a photo at a specific time on a specific day. The goal was to show a glimpse at the sheer amount of BMX that happens all over the country (and world). The results we got back were more than we hoped for. 16 photographers from 10 different cities came together to shoot for this project and it’s almost staggering to realize that it all happened at the same exact time. Thank you to everyone (see below) who took part in the project…maybe we’ll do another next year?” – RIDEbmx
If you want the full story and back story on a lot of the photos, please pick up the Mar/Apr issue of the mag.

If you follow along with us on Instagram you may have noticed we’ve been posting little 15 second 2-3 clips videos of some extras from The Finer Things. If you haven’t, the good news is that we’re posting them on our YouTube channel as well. Here’s the first round of extras from DeMarcus. You can check out Bahlman, Raban, and D right here too, which are in a handy little playlist for your viewing convenience. We’ll be posting one one of these a day till I’m out of extra footy. Buy the video HERE.
Hi-8 is a project that Eric Bahlman put together over the past 6 months on his old camcorder. A classic home video feel, check it out!
Hi-8 is a project I started this last summer using my old Sony TRV-608 camcorder. I dug it out of storage and brought her out in the streets again to film my friends just like we did back in our high school days. Just us out riding bikes and having fun! – Eric Bahlman
This is awesome! If you happen to know both Eric Bahlman and Shadow TM Ryan Chadwick, then you already know that they’re basically the same human. BMX has brought these long lost brothers together many many years ago, and has recently brought them to Tempe Skatepark for several Tuesdays in a row to make this video. Vital.
Our favorite manly man guy and freecoaster enthusiast Eric Bahlman has a bike check over on Shadow with his custom painted maroon Cerberus as well as our Anchor sample forks and Drew’s Barista bars. Drool over it here without getting your feet wet.
While Autumn is looming over most of the country, Texas however is looking mighty toasty. Here’s a very nice video by our very own Zach Krejmas of the first street practice session featuring Broc, J-Clem, DeMarcus, and Bahlman who has a MEAN half cab tabes. Watch dis. Lil’ promo teaser for the new Mediocre At Best video project titled Lightworks. Featuring Volume homies, Drew Hosselton, Eric Bahlman, The Wonder Twins and more. You know this one is gonna be good!
“Summer time in Arizona is unbearable. We decided to work on an all-night time video. It will be pretty full in length, featuring sections/mini parts from Joey Motta, The Wonder Twins, Bobby Kanode, Lahsaan Kobza, Drew Hosselton, Eric Bahlman, Austin “Crunchy” Auginbaugh, Troy Blair, and Travis Cordova. Also featuring a plethora of homies from AZ. Aiming to release it and have a big ol’ party in the spring of next year. Enjoy!” – Bobby Kanode
Eric just recently went on a Barcelona trip and got to ride some amazing spots and play tourist for a bit, read below to see what he’s been up to:
I found one riding photo from my Barcelona trip. It’s not the best quality so I hope that’ll work for the update. It’s a hop bar in front of the Arc de Triomf.
“What’s up guys! The summer has been pretty hot out here in AZ but that hasn’t stopped me from riding. To escape the heat I’ve tried to travel a bunch. First, I headed out to Cali with Drew Hoss in July. We meet up with Mastroni to film for the upcoming Volume DVD “The Finer Things”. Stoked because it was a pretty productive trip for the whole crew. Can’t wait to see it when it comes out later this year!!
At the beginning of August I headed out to Barcelona for two weeks for a little summer vacation. I met up with Simone Barraco and Shadow TM Chadwick to hang out, shred and film for the Shadow DVD. Barcelona was amazing as always, so many good spots out there!
I also just found my old Hi-8 camcorder from back in the day so I bought a new fisheye lens for it and a filming handle. Be on the look out for an edit I’m working on with some local AZ shredders!
Well the next stop for me is Interbike in Vegas next week then Texas Toast/ Nora Cup in Austin October. Hope to see all you guys out there, Ciao!!” – Eric Bahlman
