Setups: Mike Mastroni’s Cerberus

Brian | 12.31.13

Being an “artsy” guy like Mike usually leaves him to have the most interesting looking bikes with custom paints and splatter effects.  This time, he chose to leave his frame color as-is… for now.  The army-green was a sample color we’ve had for Jason Enns’ Cerberus that grew on Mike over time. We also interviewed Mike to see what he’s been up to, what’s up with the Volume DVD, and everything else in-between. Click the top image to see all the goods on his new ride and to read the interview. Click all images to go BIG. more

Enns’ Cerberus Spread

When J was first getting back in the swing of things (after his knee surgery) he made sure he caught up on all the promo for his new Cerberus frame.  Just like a true pro, he came through with a bunch of pics all in one day and we’ve been sitting on a couple solid ones till now.  This downside whip was something he’d been wanting to get out there for some time and we finally went back to reshoot it for your viewing pleasure.  Hope you like it as much as we do.  Oh yeah, buy Jason’s new Cerberus frame, you won’t be disappointed!

Volume Bikes: Jason Enns Cerberus Frame Promo. from 180 Distribution on Vimeo.

Here’s the promo for Jason Enns’ fifth signature frame in his 14 years of being on Volume, The Cerberus. In 14 years Jason has more riding time under his belt than most riders today, and he incorporated all his favorite modern features into the frame from what he’s always liked in past experience. The frame features a steeper 75.25º head tube, Volume’s proven investment casted dropouts with built-in chain tensioners, full 4130 chromoly heat treated Sanko tubing, removable seatstay brake mounts, and a double butted front triangle with both top and bottom gussets. On top of all that, you’re also protected by Jason’s 3 headed dog…

Jason and I hit a pool and a slew of various interesting street spots for you, and we also sat him down to talk about what it’s been like being on Volume for pretty much his entire professional career. For more information on the frame click here.

Enns' RIDEbmx Cerberus Ad

Coming back from a super gnarly knee injury, Jason has been on the fast track to a full recovery and even went on a recent Demolition Parts trip to Colorado. On the trip he was a a bit hesitant but in typical Enns fashion, he busted ass and got some footage and pics. This sick downside pic that was just featured in the hottest/ latest RIDEbmx was just one of the pics from the trip. His 5th signature frame, the Cerberus just dropped last week too. Be sure to check it out HERE. Click image to view the whole ad. Pic by J.Cobbs
