Drew Hosselton
1. Best part about where you live?
It has everything that California has to offer, except its a little more chill and there are lots of places to park.
2. What’s your daily routine like?
When I wake up I like to go and get coffee, check the social networking sites, and then work on my garden for a bit. From there I will see who is riding that day, go shred for a while then chill with my girl for a while.
3. Upside of being a pro bike rider?
I swim in money!
Downside of being a pro bike rider?
There really is no downside. I am living the dream, every day is the best day of my life.
4. What do you see yourself doing after riding?
Finishing up school and becoming a teacher, I don’t really see myself doing anything else with my life.
5. Magazines or the world wide web and why?
They both have there place, magazines are more satisfying but the information super highway works for instant gratification
6. Best story that you could tell us that happened to you this year?
I got a nice shiner from a face plant at a contest a few months ago. I was staying at the OSS house and when we got back we convinced some of the more gullible residents of the house that I got into a fight with Corey Martinez. After some good laughs Corey ended up coming over to the house and had to awkwardly explain the whole thing.
7. The ultimate spot you’ve ridden?
Third and Army in SF, I could ride that place all day. Also the poo drop spot in PHX, RIP.
8. What do you do besides ride (video games, razor scooter, watch porn and etc)?
I have gotten into a lot of old man hobbies lately. Gardening, woodworking, and just hanging out with the homies and my lady friend.
9. Favorite picture that has been shot of you on your bike and why?
Probably my most recent photo in Ride. Erik Hilburn and I have been really good friends for a long time, and we have been riding and shooting photos together for years. I remember when he got his first legit camera and if I remember correctly the first riding photos he shot on it were of me. Over the years we have shot a lot of photos together, but the 180 icepick photo we shot was the first photo we shot together to get published.
10. Last words?
Thanks to all my family, friends, my shorty, Volume, Demolition, and Lotek for keeping me happy, healthy, and on my bike.
