Blah blah blog

Sorry for the lack of posts, I was too busy with my new Bat suit. Seriously, imagine if I showed up to the skatepark with a fu..in' Batman motorcycle suit. That would be so AMAZING!
p.s. Comic-Con starts this week. See you nerds there!

While the auto industry is in shambles...

While the auto industry is in shambles, there is some really really cool stuff still being made. While surfing the world wide web today, I found a couple of really cool concepts

taken from autoblog.com
It took a year and more than 150 trainees to create, but the entire project involved using "junior employees", giving the company's up-and-coming employees a creative way to learn how alternative-fuel systems come together.
The F-CELL Roadster marries Benz Patent Motor Car stylings with 21st century tech wonderfully, including that legendary vehicle's general aesthetic and proportions, along with old-meets-new technologies like carbon-fiber buckets capped in hand-stitched leather and a drive-by-wire central control joystick.

car porn

If none of you saw the Top Gear episode with the Bugatti Veyron smoking every car on earth than you haven't seen a true super car. Simply a beautiful car. Right when you thought pulling out a cool 1.4 million for one isn't enough, now there are aftermarket companies making the thing lighter and quicker. As if 0-60 mph in 2.7 sec isn't fast enough.

Taken from autoblog.com
"Exterior modifications are relatively subtle and include a new front fascia, shorter hood, LED daytime running lights, side skirts, a diffuser, larger side and rear air outlets and new forged wheels. The interior features carbon fiber accents, special leather seating and trim and an ambient lighting system utilizing LEDs. Unlike the other Veyron models, the Vincero comes with a power upgrade, up to 1109 bhp and 967 lb-ft torque, thanks to an upgraded cooling system and exhaust system. With a total of three planned for production, the Linea Vincero could very well be one of the more popular color combinations out there"

Gs

I don't think I'd try this with the Volume 16 passenger van let alone in a BUS. Pictured: Pulling G's in the Mercedes-Built Setra S 411 HD. 33-foot long, 408-horsepower bus as it careens around the track subjecting its riders to centrifugal forces amounting to twice their normal body weight.

best buy carrying motorycles

Alright, call it what you will but Best Buy is now stocking (and investing in) electric motorcycles by Brammo. They actually look pretty sick. Their first model has a 45-mile range and a maximum speed of 53 miles per hour, using a lithium-ion-phosphate battery. And they claim that it's highway legal. I don't know if I'd take it on any freeway in So Cal but commuting through the city would be cool. They'll retail for $12,000 at select Best Buy stores. Just imagine that high school kid in his Geek Squad VW showing up to work on your motorbike.

ebay bike

Terry over at BMX Militia is one of those guys that sends out junk mail every week to us and occasionally he sends over some real gems like this one. "Once I did a boom gnarly stunt trick on it and a girl got pregnant just by watching my extremeness to the maxxxxx."

Taj's crystal ball

I just saw Taj's latest blog on the market trend of where our BMX bikes are headed in the future. It's really funny (actually not) that it's going the route of something I don't want endorse or see. On the other hand, my seat is high, I run a brake and I don't have plastic pedals. Then on the other hand, I never would have thought I'd be running 8"/ 2 piece bars, 2 pegs, 23-8t gearing and a 13.75" chainstay. Progression is a bitch!

BMX vs Cars

Sorry, I wasn't able to enter the BMX vs Cars article. I was having my Aston Martin Vantage delivered. Too bad for me that the trucker forgot to pull the brake lever.

Apple Introduces Revolutionary New Laptop With No Keyboard
I just stole this from Mark Losey's blog over on vitalbmx.com. What's funny is that I can totally see something like this happening in the future. Just a big iPod, right?

in a van down by the river

I thought I saw this on the news the other day and didn't believe it. The once Iron Mike Tyson, the baddest heavyweight fighter on earth literally hit rock bottom. Bummer, those fights were entertaining.

Holy sh...

WOW, what a day of videos. I rarely watch web videos more than once but Dennis' and Garrett's part in the new Nike 6.0 Video I've already watched 4 times. It was like watching Rocky's fight against Clubber Lang. Those two parts were seriously the most craziest, progressive parts that I've seen in a very long time. Plus, I think Dennis could have died on that last banger (whip pic above).

snap shot

Even I can't believe I've been blogging this much lately. I guess it's quantity over quality this time?

There is a cool program for you guys that want that look of a Polaroid and don't want to do your trickery in Photoshop to get that Polaroid look. It's easy to use too. Drag your photo to the camera and it pops out. You even can shake it to make it develop faster like the real deal. It even makes the picture look like crap like a real Polaroid.
Go Here to get the program.

now listening

I stopped listening to music all together for the time being and went towards audio books. If you get bored while running (like I do) these babies might be some help. I first picked up Steve Martin's Born Standing Up which gives you an in-depth look into Martin's life as a comic. If you're a fan of the Howard Stern show then you must be a fan of the train wreck called Artie Lang. From Heroin to hookers to suicide attempts, this guy is non stop entertainment. And he's funny as shit. Artie just came out with an audio book with other wack packers and himself as himself. I highly recommend both, for whatever the hell that's worth.

watch out kids

Now that all the fires in the area have stopped, I can get back to my quad whips. My new bike does make it a tad easier. Watch out Spinner!
